July 21st:

As you continue to memorize your show music, this midi file of the third movement may help: part 3

July 21st:

Dr. Tim seminar--wed Aug 12th

All Juniors Seniors and serious musicians should think about attending.

the cost is $30, and I need confirmation by next Tuesday the 28th.

June 30th:

while practicing for the marching show, you may want to listen to this mp3.  While it is not exactly the same thing that you will be playing, some of the source material is the same.  It should give you a good idea of tempo and style.  Keep in mind that we usually have 3 practices in June--so we are already a little behind schedule and need to come on the 14th ready to go.  Please put in your work before that practice.

Have a great 4th holiday,

Mr. T

Marching Band Members,

I hope you are all having a great summer.  Please make sure you are looking over your marching band music and come to our first practice on July 14th with the first movement (or more) memorized.

Drumline/pit/percussion members will be meeting this Thursday and all Thursdays for the rest of the summer from 6-9 in the FZS band room.  We will not be meeting July 2nd because of the holiday weekend.  If you are in town, you need to be at practice. If you cannot be at practice please email me at dtucker@fz.k12.mo.us so we know where you are.  If you know of members who plan on being in the drumline you may want to contact them as I do not think I have everyone's contact information.
